Monday, 11th of June – 434 years since the founding of VALGA/VALKA!

 

 

In VALGA

 

10.30 Border Town Bigband is greeting the citizens of Valga with a concert from the tower of the Jaani Church.

 

11.00 The ceremonial parade of the children of the Valga and Valka kindergartens from the Valga Town Hall along Kesk Street to the Culture Center. We invite all children to join the procession! We release balloons with good wishes to the sky, followed by a concert and sharing a birthday cake.

 

15.00 Opening of The Wall of Dreams on Pikk Street (near meat factory). Street artist Artjom Kesvatera covers the wall with the dreams and visions of the youth of Valga.

 

17.00-18.45 Five o´clock Tea in front of the Valga Cultural and Hobby Centre.

 

19.00 The conclusion of the festival. The concert of the Livonia Youngsters Orchestra. Entrance fee 3 euros. Proceeds from the concert will be used for the development of orchestral activities.
