On 23rd June at the Valka Open Air Stage for the first time in the history of Latvia and Estonia, both states together will celebrate Summer Solstice Celebration or Līgo.

From 09 AM – 3PM at the stage will be "All-Latvian Midsummer Fair", but at 10 PM, the Great Līgo Concert of Latvia and Estonia will be held "Let's Līgo together with Estonians in Valka!". The concert will feature many artists from Latvia and Estonia - Ginta Krievkalna, Ivars Cinkuss, Lorija Vuda Cinkusa, Samanta Tina, Janis Buķelis, Žoržs Siksna, Viktors Lapčenoks, Birgit Õigemeel, Getter Jaani, Artūrs Biķernieks and others. The event will be headed by Vita Balčunaite and Margus Abels. The organizers promise that there will be a number of surprises on the scene. Entrance to the stage - from 20.00.

After the grand concert and night-time, which will begin at midnight, everyone is invited to take part in the rippling run. The start of the run - the sunrise, and the organizers of the run promise a special prize for the winner.
