An International Biennial of Art and Culture named “Life” will be held in Valka Culture house’s showrooms from 1st of May till 30th of September in 2015. Within it will be revealed a major contemporary art exhibition named “I know, you, in half-lonely spirit”.
The exhibit composition will be designed as a study whose main theme will be – to update Rainis and Aspazija, our Latvian writers and politicians, biography mets and their personality and contribution to culture, while building or breaking down the boundaries between fiction and the reality.
Artists from Estonia, Lithuania, France, Russia, Hungary and Latvia will attend this international exhibition joint project, they will reveal the research themes of the exhibition with the help of paintings, graphics, porcelain work, costume displays and installations.
The wide exposure and each artist's individual vision of the world, revealing the theme, will show the limitless possibilities of art.
