In cooperation with the Latvian and Estonian Triathlon Federations, Valka and Valga county council cities, on 14th and 15th of June in twin towns of Valka and Valga will be held a stage of Latvian and Estonian triathlon championship in long distance (1.9 km of swimming, 90 km of cycling, 21.1 km of running) The Championship will be opened on 14th of June at 15:00 in Valga, at Pedele River (rescue station) with a special program for children. At 17:00 is the start of children in C, D, E groups, at 18:00 is the start of young people in group A, B and the older group, and at 19:00 will be held the Awards Ceremony. The first day of competition will conclude with a triathlon workshop and porridge party. On the next day the 15th of June, the competition starts at 11:00, the long distance triathlon for (half - ironman) elite athletes, veterans and teams. Awards Ceremony at 18:00. Entry fee for children who were born from year 2001 to year 2007 - free of charge. For young people - 25 EUR, for adults - 70 EUR, for teams - 140 EUR only, if the registration is made until 13th of June.
